CHILD'S DESTINY MINISTRY- UGANDA: After a long period of war in Northern Uganda that lasted for 21 years between Joseph Kony's Lord's Resistance Army and the government of Uganda, many children were left without parents or relatives. Families were destroyed. Many children had no place to go, so they ended up on the streets. Today in Gulu there are many children living in its corridors and sleeping under the verandas of various shops. They become scavengers for scraps to eat from backstreets, roadsides, and trash bins. They suffer many different forms of abuses day and night.
